As a Pittsburgh-based public interest attorney, Zane has dedicated his life to advancing justice, defending civil rights, and keeping families together.
Zane knows how to navigate high-stakes legal battles. He has handled thousands of serious criminal matters as an Assistant Public Defender in Allegheny County and fiercely protected family integrity as a Parent Advocate with Neighborhood Legal Services. He knows the courts, he knows the system, and most importantly, he knows how to fight for his clients.

Today, Zane channels his legal and civic expertise into elevating his community. He serves as Vice President of the Pittsburgh Black Lawyers Alliance (PBLA), sits on the ACBA Access to Justice Committee, and is a 2026 graduate of the ACBA's Pathways to Leadership Program.
